Lean ground beef around 1 pound, 8 sliced scallions, 2 thinly sliced large red potatoes, 2 chopped green pepper, 2 chopped tomatoes, ¾ cup of shredded low-fat cheddar cheese, 1 tablespoon ground cumin, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.

Step One - Put a large non-stick pan on the stove and heat the olive oil in it. Next you dump in the lean ground beef, scallions, and green peppers. You should allow the mix to cook for approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Stir the mix whenever you need to and allow the beef to turn brown and the veggies softened.

I bought this e-book about a week ago and I’m enjoying the recipes so far. Many of the recipes are quite simple and easy to follow. The ingredients for the recipes are not hard to find and that is something I can truly appreciate as I’m not a fan of grocery shopping. The structure of the book is decent enough. There’s the usual intro and then there a very interesting section about the author who is actually a competitive bodybuilder. After that you get to the meaty part of the book which is the recipes.
In this book, you’ll find a good selection of bodybuilding ground beef recipes, pork recipes, seafood, chicken & poultry, heck even some homemade protein bar recipes are thrown in as well. This book is pretty much a heaven-sent for bodybuilders and lifters who are in searching for variety in their everyday meals. I can’t recommend this bodybuilding cookbook highly enough!
